In April, 2008, O'Brien delivered a lecture about his work, accompanied by
a slide presentation, entitled Recreating the Age of Fighting Sail.
This was at the opening of the Modern Marine Masters exhibition
at the Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport in Connecticut.
